Local Students Get Free Books

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Some youngsters in Bethlehem had a party Wednesday morning, and brand-new books were the gifts they received.

The books were distributed to first- and second-graders at Vitalistic Therapeutic Charter School.

They were supplied through a grant from a nonprofit organization called First Book and C and S Wholesale Grocers.

C and S employees and public officials read to the kids.

Each student got to take home three books.
