STROUDSBURG, Pa. -

Earlier this year, Kirk Malcolm Randler of Long Pond was found guilty in a fatal crash and has now been sentenced to 11 1/2 - 23 years in prison for homicide by vehicle.  The crash killed a woman hours after her son graduated from Pocono Mountain East High School.

According to authorities, Randler did not show up at his sentencing hearing, so there is still a bench warrant out for his arrest.

At 8:11 p.m. June 20, 2014, Randler lost control of his Cherolet Camaro while speeding on Route 611. The car crossed the highway and hit an oncoming SUV.

Katrina Strauser, Randler's girlfriend who was in the car, was killed and her two sons, Ricky and Gunner Strauser, were badly injured. They were on the way home from a graduation ceremony for one of the boys.

Investigators determined Randler was driving between 81 and 91 mph in a posted 45 mph zone. Witnesses observed Randler weaving in and out of traffic just before the crash, which occurred along Route 611, south of Fork Street in Mount Pocono.

There is a hearing scheduled for September 27 for the forfeiture of his bail, which is his mother's house.
