Assisted suicide charge dropped against nurse in dad's death

POTTSVILLE, Pa. - A judge in Schuylkill County has dismissed an assisted suicide charge against a nurse.

The judge said prosecutors failed to prove any crime occurred and largely based their case against Barbara Mancini on hearsay and speculation.

Mancini, 57, was accused of helping her 93-year-old terminally ill father, Joseph Yourshaw, commit suicide by handing him a bottle of morphine in his home in Pottsville last February.
