Home damaged after fire in Jim Thorpe

JIM THORPE, Pa. - Flames tore through a home in Carbon County Sunday evening.

Heavy smoke and flames were seen pouring from the home in the 700 block of South Street in Jim Thorpe around 6:30 p.m.

Crews at the scene say the firefighters arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.

No word yet on what caused this fire.
