House, garage destroyed in Carbon County fire

NESQUEHONING, Pa. - Firefighters were called out to a home in Carbon County Tuesday morning.

Crews were dispatched around 6:10 a.m. to a home in the unit block of West Mussmano Avenue in Nesquehoning.

A crew at the scene said the fire started in the first floor garage before spreading to the home above it.

The fire was put out around 7:15 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Crews told 69 News the house is likely destroyed, as well as a vehicle inside the garage.
