Large bags banned from Cinemark movie theater

STROUD TWP., Pa. - Cinemark announced certain large bags will not be allowed inside its movie theaters.

Effective Thursday, any bags or packages larger than 12" x 12" x 6" are not permitted. However, there is an exception for medical equipment bags and diaper bags.

Cinemark says this move is an effort to enhance safety and security of its guests and employees.

One of the closest Cinemark theaters is located in the Stroud Mall in Stroud Township, Monroe County, according to its website.
