STROUDSBURG, Pa. - A Monroe County man on parole is facing new charges after officials said he tried to use his sister's urine for a drug test.
Police said 19-year-old Travis Daring was meeting with his probation officer on Thursday in Stroudsburg when he was asked to take a drug test.
The probation officer found Daring was trying to use what is commonly called a 'wizzinator' made out of a syringe and a shoe lace. It's used to fraudulently beat drug tests.
Daring had concealed the device in his pants, and had tried to use his 11-year-old sister's urine, police said.
Daring told his probation officer he smoked marijuana three or four weeks ago.
Officials said Daring was on probation after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver drugs in connection with an incident on July 25, 2012.
He now faces probation violation, in addition to new charges of corruption of minors, instruments of a crime and furnishing drug free urine.
He was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
