ROSS TWP., Pa. - A Monroe County community is turning the corner after an unthinkable tragedy.
It's been four months since a shooting left three people dead at a Ross Township supervisor's meeting.
Since then there's been no official business in the room where it happened.
That changes very soon.
A Christmas tree lighting will take place there on Sunday-- it'll be the first public event held in the room where Rockne Newell admitted to opening fire back on August 5th.
Also just over one month from Thursday supervisors' meetings will resume in the building.
They had been meeting at a neighboring municipal building since the shooting.
