Schuylkill County man taking tiny house to college

ORWIGSBURG, Pa. - A Schuylkill County man is skipping the dorm room experience as he heads to grad school in Ohio.

Jed Brensinger of Orwigsburg built a tiny house that he plans to set up on a friend's lawn.

It's 160 square feet and includes a bathroom with shower, kitchen, living room, and sleeping loft.

Brensinger designed it himself and spent about $11,000 building it.

He plans to live in it with his pet Dachshund even after he graduates.
