State Police investigating recent string of arsons in Schuylkill County

Pennsylvania state police are seeking the public's help regarding a recent string of arsons in Schuylkill County.

State police are investigating seven incendiary fires that have been set to vacant, unattended structures in Pine Grove, Washington and Reilly townships since November 2017.

Trooper David Boehm with the state police confirmed that all of these fires were ruled arsons.

The most recent of these fires consumed a barn in Washington Township on January 22, resulting in damages in excess of $30,000, according to a release by state police.

No injuries were reported, and no animals or livestock were present.
