Zyiar Clark waives preliminary hearing

A high school student from the Poconos who, police said, wrote threatening rap lyrics about teachers and staff is now heading to trial.

Zyiar Clark waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Clark, of East Stroudsburg, wrote a rap song called "Columbine," in which he threatened to injure or kill several officials at East Stroudsburg High School North, police said.

Clark posted the song on his Facebook page, police said.

Clark is facing charges that include assault and terroristic threats.
