SUV slams into utility pole and tree in Carbon County

SUMMIT HILL, Pa. - One person was rushed to the hospital after an SUV slammed into a utility pole and tree in Carbon County.

It happened at around 7:15 a.m. Saturday along White Bear Drive in Summit Hill.

Police say the SUV hit the pole and went down an embankment before barreling into the tree.

The driver was taken to the hospital.

So far, there's no word on the victim's condition.
