Tricky rescue effort at Glen Onoko Falls for woman bitten by copperhead snake

JIM THORPE, Pa. - Emergency crews had a difficult time rescuing a woman who was apparently bitten by a copperhead snake at Glen Onoko Falls in Carbon County.

Crews were called to the scene around 8 p.m. Sunday.

It took rescuers an hour just to reach the woman.

They had to carry her up the mountain to get her to an ambulance.

At this point, there's no word on the woman's condition.
