Young children inside home of double-shooting in Carbon County

Police: Man, woman injured in shooting

LANSFORD, Pa. - Police in Carbon County are investigating a double-shooting in which a man and a woman were wounded with four young children inside the home.

Police responded to a report of a domestic incident at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of West Patterson Street in Lansford.

Residents Levi Zagata, 36, and Melissa Price, 37, were found wounded inside the home, police said.

Price was shot three times, and Zagata once, crews at the scene told 69 News.

Both were rushed to a nearby hospital. Zagata eventually was flown to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.

Price was later airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

There's no word on their conditions.

The children inside the home were not hurt.

Police said they are not looking for any suspects.
