Police: Allentown teen Jenuel Nunez killed in bicycle-SUV accident

Fatal accident at 16th and Union

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A teenager was killed Thursday when his bicycle was hit by an SUV in Allentown, authorities said.

The accident happened at 16th and Union streets around 4:20 p.m., said Capt. Glen Dorney, Allentown Police Dept.

The coroner's office identified the boy as Jenuel Nunez, 15, of the 400 block of S. 15th Street, Allentown.

An autopsy showed that Nunez died of multiple blunt force injuries, said the coroner, who ruled his death an accident.

Nunez was a student at Trexler Middle School, officials said. Additional counselors were on hand there Friday.
