Police: Arrest made in Cumru Trail slaying; 2 others sought

CUMRU TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police are searching for two men who they say are armed and dangerous. Thursday night one man was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and then killing a man near the Thun Trail a few weeks ago.

Police said he didn't do it alone and need your help finding the other suspects.

Investigators say from witnesses coming forward... they were able to identify the three men are responsible for Luis Salas-Ramos' death. But, they still need more information.

District Attorney John Adams announced the arrest of Jose Arnaldo Rivera-Aguirre, also known as "Naldi."

"We are still looking for two other individuals who we believe were involved with this crime," said Adams.

Adams said Naldi and the two others are all facing charges of 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-degree murder and kidnapping.

According to court documents, on September 23, 2012 in the 200 block of Wood Street in Reading witnesses saw Luis Salas-Ramos being hit in the face with a gun, beaten unconscious and then thrown into the back of a red Jeep by three men.

"We believe this Jeep was involved in this crime and we are asking for any information," said Adams.

Adams said the Jeep is in police custody. But they are still looking for the men they said helped "Naldi" beat Salas-Ramos in Reading and then transported him to the Thun Trail in Cumru Township.

"We do believe he was kidnapped, and taken to Cumru Township where he was murdered," said Adams.

Police are looking for Miguel Rosario Ramos, 35, or "Ponce" and Victor Borges-Rivera, 20, or "Pollo."

Both men's last known addresses were in Reading. Pollo's address was in the 200 block of Wood Street where Salas-Ramos was last seen alive.

"I think it's imperative that they are taken into custody," said Adams.
