Police ID man found dead in back of car in Monroe County

Officials release name of victim in suspicious death

TOBYHANNA TWP., Pa. - Police have identified the person whose body was found dead in the back seat of a car.

Brandon Fraser was found in a vehicle with its windows "blown out" on Gapview Drive in the Emerald Lakes Community of Tobyhanna Township on Tuesday morning, police said.

Police found Fraser, 20, of Long Pond, Monroe Co., with severe trauma to his head, and a rear window was also shattered.

The death has been labeled suspicious but police have not yet ruled it a homicide.
