Police searching for man accused of raping woman in her home

READINGTON TWP., N.J. - A wanted criminal has been charged Aggravated Criminal Sexual Content and Burglary after being arrested in Hunterdon County.

Readington Township Police were called to a residence on Route 22 after a man allegedly entered a female's home and had unwanted sexual contact with her.

Readington Township Police Chief Sebastian Donaruma and Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns later identified the man as Amardeep Singh of Readington.

Prosecutor Kearns added that unlawful entries into private residences are always matters of great concern and this investigation in on-going.

Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-321-0010 or go to the website at www.crimestoppershunterdon.com.

Tipsters can also text message 'HCTIPS' plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).
