Schwartz considers running for governor, U.S. Senate

Another politician from Montgomery County is thinking about taking on Governor Tom Corbett.

U.S. Representative Allyson Schwartz is considering running for governor in 2014.

The Democrat is also considering challenging Republican Senator Pat Toomey in 2016.

Schwartz is just the latest Democrat to consider a gubernatorial campaign.

That list includes Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski and a Republican, Montgomery County Commissioner Bruce Castor.

Former state environmental chief John Hanger, a Democrat, is the only man who's started a campaign.
