Prosecutor: Witnesses needed for crash involving Franklin Township police car

FRANKLIN TWP, N.J. - A Hunterdon County prosecutor is looking for witnesses in connection with the investigation of a crash involving a Franklin Township police officer.

The crash occurred on Saturday, June 22nd on Route 12 near Old Croton Road, at approximately 3:40 PM.

The Prosecutor and his office are assisting Delaware Township with the investigation.

They are looking for witnesses to the crash.

According to the Prosecutor, a beige sedan turned left onto Old Croton Road from Route 12 just before the crash with the police car.

Investigators would like to talk to the vehicle's driver.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
