Reading United shuts out Long Island

The Reading United played through the rain to earn a big 4-0 win over the Long Island Rough Riders Friday night at Don Thomas Stadium in Exeter.

The game was scoreless until the 67th minute, when Kadeem Dacres gave the United at 1-0 lead.

Later in the half, Mario Pinto scored to make it 2-0 Reading.

The United would add two late goals to seal the 4-0 win.

The win gives the United (7-0-5) sole possession of second place in the PDL's Mid Atlantic Division.
