Reber sentenced to 14-28 years in prison

A man who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter -- but acquitted of murder in a bizarre case has been sentenced.

Keith Reber has been sentenced to 14 to 28 years in prison.

Police say Reber gagged Bryan Smith and tied him to a tree in Schuylkill County in May of last year.

Smith ended up dying.

Police say Reber thought Smith was stealing from his girlfriend and wanted to punish him.

Another man, Daniel Dull, pleaded guilty last month to criminal homicide, involuntary manslaughter and related offenses in connection with the case.
