Reward offered in violent home invasion

TREDYFFRIN TWP., Pa. - Police in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County are offering a $25,000 reward for information about a robbery and kidnapping.

It happened last week to the owner of Shuler's Jewelers in East Norriton Township.

Officials say four men tied up the owner and his wife and held them at gunpoint, then forced the man to drive them to the jewelry store.

Police say they stole an unknown amount of merchandise then fled.

Police are looking for a white Volkswagon Passat with Pennsylvania registration DJM-0696 and for the suspects' vehicle, a silver of blue sedan.

South Whitehall Township Police say the men who pulled the Chester County robbery may also be responsible for a similar heist in December at Bixler's Jewelers.
