Robbers hit Phillipsburg gas station

Police asking for public's help

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. - Robbers hit a Phillipsburg gas station early Wednesday morning.

At 12:42 a.m., Phillipsburg police responded to a report of a theft at the Shell station, 598 E. Memorial Parkway.

Two suspects wearing dark clothing and dark-colored face masks entered the station, startled the clerk and took an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register.  The suspects were described as 18 to 25 years old, with medium builds.

Anyone with information about the thefts should call city police at 908-454-1121.
