Royals clinch No. 1 seed, set franchise wins record

It was quite a night for the Reading Royals on Saturday.

Reading won its seventh straight game, beating Toledo 3-1 on the road.

With the win, the Royals set new franchise record with their 45th victory of the season.

The win also clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference in the upcoming Kelly Cup playoffs.

The Royals will visit Toledo again on Sunday at 5:05pm.
