Search warrant released on possible Bethlehem meth lab

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Police in Bethlehem have returned a search warrant on a suspected meth lab that exploded last week.

Officials said they found chemicals and other drug-making materials inside the home in the 1600 block of Greenleaf Street.

Investigators said they had been watching drug activity at the home for months.

They were planning to serve a search warrant on the home Friday but a few hours before they got there, the house exploded and caught fire.

Seven people were hurt, including two city officers, and the home has been condemned.

So far, no arrests have been made.
