Shicon Jamal Jordan wanted for attempted homicide

Police say he started shooting at the Econo Lodge in Stroudsburg.

Police: Man shoots up EconoLodge

STROUDSBURG, Pa. - A woman and two friends are lucky to be alive Thursday after police say a man shot at them as they sat in a car in front of the Econo Lodge off Park Avenue in Stroudsburg.

Police say the man, identified as Shicon Jamal Jordan, pulled up in a minivan and said to the victim, "bet you never thought that you would see me again."

He then proceeded to fire several rounds at the victim's car, striking it several times.

Another gunshot went through a window into a room at the Econo-Lodge, police say.

Police believe a complaint the victim filed with the Stroud Area Regional Police Department against the suspect prompted the shooting, which took place around 3 p.m. Thursday.

Jordan is described as a 40 year-old man, about 6 feet tall, weighing 205 pounds.

He has brown eyes and black hair, possibly in corn rows.

The vehicle is a 2009 silver Honda Odyssey, with Pa. license plate JLS-8208.

Police have issued an alert to a 99 mile radius of Stroudsburg Borough to all law enforcement agencies on Jordan and his vehicle.

Police describe him as "armed and dangerous." Warrants are currently being drawn up on Jordan for three counts of attempted homicide related charges.

Police advise any one who spots the suspect and his vehicle not to approach him but to notify law enforcement immediately.
