Bucks County calls on churches and their emergency shelters

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. - Bucks County is extending its current 'code blue' weather advisory for one more week as cold temperatures continue. 

It now takes effect through Jan. 7 at 7 a.m.

The county's Emergency Management Agency has notified on-call churches to activate their emergency shelters during this time. 

The churches and its volunteers are to coordinate transportation, food and other necessities.
