Eagles return to Franklin Field Sunday

Eagles return to Franklin Field

Philadelphia - The Eagles fell to the Bears 34-28 in their first preseason game on Friday night.  Saturday the team had the day off. Sunday afternoon the Birds returned to practice and returned to Franklin Field, the Eagles home before the Linc and the Vet, and the last stadium they won an NFL Championship in. Numerous Eagles Alumni were on hand for the third and final public practice of training camp, including Bethlehem's own Concrete Charlie, Chuck Bednarik. Chip Kelly was excited to move practice from the NovaCare Complex one last time this summer and take in the atmosphere of a venue with such a storied history.
