Lawyers file motion to dismiss charges in assisted suicide

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Lawyers for a Philadelphia nurse accused of helping her terminally-ill father kill himself have filed a motion to dismiss the case.

Barbara Mancini faces up to ten years in prison for allegedly handing morphine to her dying father at his Pottsville home.

In the motion, Mancini's lawyers cite two Supreme Court cases in which judges ruled that terminally-ill patients have a right to pain medication even if it advances the time of death
