Montgomery County DA investigating after body found in Lower Merion Township

LOWER MERION TWP., Pa. - Montgomery County officials are investigating after a body was found on a Lower Merion Township road Saturday.

County district attorney Kevin Steele and Lower Merion Township police announced an investigation into the death of a man who was discovered in the 1600 block of Spring Mill Road, in the Gladwyne section of Lower Merion Township.

Township police responded to a call of a man on the side of the road Saturday at 7:26 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a body on the grassy shoulder of the roadway.

An autopsy is scheduled at the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause and manner of death.
