Police arrest Pottstown hotel robbery suspect

POTTSTOWN, Pa. - Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a hotel in Montgomery County.

Damien Hayes, 30, is facing robbery, possession of a firearm and related charges.

Investigators said surveillance footage shows Hayes robbing America's Best Value Inn at High and Manatawny streets in Pottstown at gunpoint Saturday.

Police said less than $50 was taken.

Hayes is in Montgomery County jail on $100,000 bail.
