Too much blood for a crash, says investigator in Schrimer

Testimony continued in the Monroe County trial of a retired priest who's accused of killing his wives.

Arthur Schirmer is on trial for the death of his second wife, Betty, in 2008.

Investigators say he hit her on the head with a metal object and then staged a car crash to cover it up.

An investigator who testified Thursday said there was too much blood at the scene for it to have come from the crash.

Schrimer is also awaiting trial in Lebanon County over death of his first wife, Jewel, in 1999.
