Two taken to the hospital after car slams into garage

MARION TWP., Pa. - An elderly man had to be flown to the hospital after the SUV he was driving slammed into a garage in Marion Township.

It happened Thursday afternoon in the 3900 block of Smaltz Road.

Officials say the driver lost control while going around a curve and hit a utility pole before hitting the garage.

They say the driver might have had a stroke but they aren't sure if it happened before or after the crash.

A passenger was also taken to the hospital.

There's no word on their conditions as of Thursday night.
