Voter IDs available through PennDOT

PennDOT is working to help voters comply with Pennsylvania's new voter ID law.

The law requires all voters to show photo identification at the polls this November.

Starting Tuesday certain voters who don't have the necessary documents to get a state photo ID can get a free voter ID card.

Voters can apply at any PennDOT drivers license center.

They'll have to provide their social security number and proof of residency to get the card.
