Upper Macungie police seek Bank of America robber

Robbery occurred Tuesday afternoon in Fogelsville

Bank hold-up in Upper Macungie

UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. - Upper Macungie police are asking for the public's help to locate the suspect who robbed the Bank of America at 7720 Main St. in Fogelsville Tuesday afternoon.

He is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old. He was wearing an OD green (or dark-colored) field jacket over a bright blue shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball cap with "Polo Sport Athletics" written on the front.

The suspect was carrying a single strap, dark-colored satchel over his shoulder and was last seen getting into a silver or white pickup truck.

The robbery occurred at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. The man went into the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded money. 

Police said he did not display a weapon but threatened to use one if the teller did not give him the cash. After getting the money, he put it into the satchel and walked out of the bank.
