Teugie Askew wanted for corruption of minors

Several girls under 14 were impaired in his Lansdale apartment

LANSDALE, Pa. - Lansdale police are asking for the public's help to locate 28-year-old Teugie Lamont Askew, who is wanted for corruption of minors.

On June 6, several girls under the age of 14 were inside Askew's apartment in the 100 block of E. Main Street in the borough.

A boy about the same age, who also was in the apartment, used his cell phone to take video of the girls, who appeared to be in an impaired state.

Concerned parents of the girls met with Lansdale police on June 11.

Police reviewed the video, which revealed that Askew was in the apartment, interacted with the children and had knowledge of their impaired state, which involved alcohol and over-the-counter cough medicine.

Police issued a warrant for Askew's arrest.

Anyone with information about Askew's whereabouts is asked to contact Lansdale police at 215-368-1801 or crimetips@landsdalepd.org.
