Warrant Issued For Suspect In Teen's Killing

READING, Pa. - A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man in connection with the killing of a teenager in Reading last month.

Police told 69 News they are seeking 20-year-old Kevin Smith on criminal homicide charges for his alleged role in the shooting death of David Arango, 18.

Children on their way to school found Arango's body on a baseball field in the 1000 block of Scott Street in the city's Oakbrook neighborhood on October 14.

An autopsy determined Arango, who lived nearby in the 700 block of Summit Chase Drive, was shot in the head.

Smith's last known address is in Philadelphia. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
