Web Ex: Man Allegedly Strips For Web Cam, Arrested

AG: Suspect Started Relationship While On Family Vacation

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A man who authorities said was on vacation with his family when he started an online relationship with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl is now in custody.

Agents with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Child Predator Unit arrested John Lehosky of Saylorsburg, Monroe County, on charges of having unlawful contact with a minor.

Authorities accuse Lehosky, 62, of sending multiple nude and sexually explicit webcam videos to someone he believed was a 14-year old girl. That person was actually an undercover agent.

Attorney General Tom Corbett said their initial chat took place while Lehosky was vacationing with his family.

Lehosky allegedly asked the girl if she wanted to "help him in the shower." Corbett said his question was immediately followed by webcam video showing Lehosky nude and performing a sex act in front of his computer.

"Computer technology makes it extremely easy for strangers to send messages, photos and video, and many of the men arrested by the Child Predator Unit begin sexually graphic discussions during their first online conversations with what they think are children," Corbett said. "Parents should regularly review Internet safety with children and encourage them to immediately report any inappropriate communication."

According to the criminal complaint, Lehosky repeatedly contacted the "girl," sending numerous sexually graphic webcam videos. Authorities said he also asked the girl if she would remove her clothes while chatting with him online and proposed that they meet in person.

Lehosky was charged with seven counts of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of criminal use of a computer, all third-degree felonies that are each punishable by up to seven years in prison and $15,000 fines. His bail was set at $50,000.
