Details on: Barn fire in Chester County, Vandals burn Bibles, and Reading shooting

40+ cows rescued from barn fire in Chester County - Dozens of cows escaped after a barn went up in flames in Chester County. The multi-alarm fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Ridge Road and Locust Lane in East Vincent Township. A crew at the scene said all of the cows were saved from the barn. More than 40 cows were seen outside of the structure. WFMZ's Jim Vasil will have much more on this story on the News at 4:00 and 5:30.

Vandals burn Bibles at New Jersey church - Extensive damage was reported at Free Union Methodist Church in Liberty Township in Warren County between the dates of Oct. 19 and Oct. 22. According to police, the church was broken into and religious items and other property inside the church were damaged. Several Bibles and hymnals were set on fire. Anyone with information is asked to contact New Jersey State Police.

Man shows up at hospital with gunshot wounds, police say - Gunfire in Reading resulted in a man showing up at the hospital with gunshot wounds Tuesday night, police said. Officers responded around 9 p.m. to the area of South 11th and Chestnut streets after the victim arrived at the hospital's emergency room for treatment of gunshot wounds to the lower extremities. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
