Details on: Parkland Students Arrested, N. Catty Homicide, and Wentz out for Season

2 juveniles in custody after threats at Parkland High School - Two high school students are in custody after allegedly making a threat at Parkland High School in Lehigh County. DA Jim Martin said Parkland officials learned last Monday of "possible threatening action" to be carried out by two students before Christmas break. Martin said two 15-year-olds were taken into custody Wednesday and are being held in a juvenile facility. 

North Catasauqua man admits he beat, strangled wife - Police arrested a Northampton County man over the weekend in the death of his wife. North Catasauqua police were called to a home in the 1000 block of 5th Street Friday night. There they found Holly Cernobyl, 48, dead in a basement stairwell. Police arrested her husband, Kenneth Cernobyl, 49, at the scene.  Police say he confessed to beating and strangling her earlier on Wednesday and moving her body.

Eagles confirm Carson Wentz out for season with torn ACL - Eagles fans' worst fears have been confirmed. Head coach Doug Pederson announced quarterback Carson Wentz has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season and the playoffs. Wentz was an MVP candidate before being injured on a third quarter run in Sunday's win against the Rams. The Eagles now turn to veteran backup Nick Foles for the rest of the year.
