West Chester falls in NCAA Div. II semifinal round

The West Chester football team's historic season came to an end just one win short of the NCAA Div. II Championship Game.

The Golden Rams lost at top-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne 42-14 on Saturday in the NCAA Div. II semifinals.

West Chester led 7-6 and 14-12 before Lenoir-Rhyne took over down the stretch.

It marked the second time in school history that West Chester reached the national semifinals.

The Golden Rams finish the season with a record of 13-2.
