Liquor store shoplifter caught on camera

Phillipsburg Police seek help in identifying male culprit

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. - Phillipsburg Police are actively seeking the public's help in identifying a male shoplifter who stole from a liquor store.

According to police, a man in his early 20s entered Norton's Cork 'N Bottle in the 600 block of Memorial Parkway Tuesday night, concealed a bottle of liquor in his backpack and left the store, neglecting to pay.

It happened around 9:43 p.m.

Police say the man was wearing tan shorts, a dark hooded sweatshirt and black sneakers.

Anyone with information should call Phillipsburg Police at 908-454-1121 or send police a private message through their Facebook page.
