Workers' hard-earned cash swiped by tip jar thief in Warren County

Tip jar stolen

POHATCONG TWP., N.J. - Police in Warren County, New Jersey are searching for a thief who ran off with a restaurant tip jar containing a few hundred dollars.

Police say the thief struck around 1:40 p.m. Saturday at Francesco's Italian Restaurant on South Main Street in Pohatcong Towship.

Images of the male suspect were caught on a surveillance camera inside the restaurant.

The suspect was last seen running on Zellers Alley towards Russell Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pohatcong Police at 908-454-9836.
