TODAY: A period of rain this morning, then clouds and some sunny breaks this afternoon. High: 72
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, some rain will be returning late. Low: 56
THURSDAY: Cloudy and cooler with occasional rain, a t-storm. High: 65 Low: 55
A bit of rain this morning moving through the area as this wave of low pressure quickly exits the East Coast by the afternoon. So look for the rain to end and the morning clouds to give way to some sunshine. High temperatures today will be close to seasonable in the low 70s. Now tonight, the clouds will lower and thicken back up again as the next wave of low pressure approaches the area. Low temperatures will be down to the mid 50s.
Rain will develop late tonight and continue through the day tomorrow as occasional rain through the day with a thunderstorm in spots. Temperatures will be cooler and only hit the mid 60s while some spots may struggle to leave the 50s! Rainfall totals will generally be between .50" and 1.0" with locally higher amounts possible.
Friday will still have more clouds than sun, but it will be a drier day overall as that low pressure slowly moves north. A shower or two, even a thunderstorm will be possible. High temperatures will be seasonable in the low 70s.
The unsettled pattern continues into the Memorial Day Weekend. For now, Saturday looks like the nicer day with sunshine followed by clouds and temperatures into the upper 70s. Slight cooler Sunday, around 70 degrees, with clouds and a few showers, even a thunderstorm. Memorial Day Monday will return to seasonable in the mid 70s but still mostly cloudy and a shower or thunderstorm still possible.
