What is Podcasting?
|
Podcasts are MP3 audio programs that are available to be downloaded onto your computer and transferred to an iPod or any portable media device that supports MP3 files. |
How do I get it?
Getting these podcasts is
surprisingly easy -- and free! Several free programs are available
online that will allow you to download the daily MP3 feeds. iTunes
is a free music player that can be used on both Windows and Apple
machines. If you use iTunes, simply click on this logo to
subscribe:

If you don't use iTunes, simply copy and paste the URL from the
link (top of the left column on this
page) into the subscription
portion of your program.
After the download is complete, the individual podcasts will appear on
your computer as MP3 files. You can listen directly on your computer or
load them onto your portable music player. Most podcasting programs can
be set to automatically download program updates as soon as they become
available.
