Road Reopened After Oil Spill Cleanup in Berks County

Part of Jefferson Boulevard in Spring Township, Berks County was closed for two hours earlier today to clean up an oil spill. Emergency dispatchers say that a little more than 20 gallons of oil spilled from a truck just before 11 a.m. It happened on Jefferson Boulevard near Princeton Avenue. No oil spilled into any sewers or waterways.
