WEATHER HEADLINES

WFMZ is giving you the dish on the best restaurants in town. We're taking you inside local eateries that have earned a reputation as the cream of the crop. Catch "Local Flavor" Fridays on 69 News at 6:00pm, and Mondays on 69 News at Noon. And if there's a restaurant in your town that serves up perfect pasta or makes a mean meatloaf, tell us about it.

Bowers Hotel
We're riding the rails to this week's Local Flavor feature in Berks County. The history of the Bowers Hotel in Maxatawny Township can be traced back to the 1820's. It's always been a hotel--quarry workers used to take the train and stay there during the week. Now it bills itself as a country inn. It still retains a lot of its old-time charm.
