Our 69 News Sunrise crew were joined by some of the winners of the baking contests at this past summer's Great Allentown Fair on November 13.

On Friday September 25, Chef Anthanassios "Terry" Lykos of Terry's Restaurant, joined our 69 News Sunrise Crew. He showed us how to cook Ravioli "Terry style", and treated our crew to his Chocolate Mousse recipe. Terry's Restaurant is an Italian Restaurant located in Easton.

On Friday, September, 18th three chefs who won at the Allentown Fair joined our 69 News Sunrise crew in the studio to cook up the recipes they won for!

On Friday September 4, Chef Cara Capobiano from Pacifico joined our 69 News Sunrise crew. She made up some specialty drinks and a Lobster and Avacado Quesadilla. Pacifico Seafood and Steakhouse is in the Promenade Shops.

Thanks to EVERYONE who participated in our Kutztown Folk Festival Poll. It was lots of fun! Hundreds and hundreds of you weighed in (thanks so much for taking time to vote)...and the winner is...MILK TART (Pennsylvania Dutch name is "Schlop Kucha"). I want to thank the good folks at Zion's Church at Windsor Castle for their help during our live shot in making the Milk Tart. Trust me...it tastes "wonderful-good" (as the Pennsylvania Dutch would say)!

Chef Jamie McKeon--Director of Foodservice and Nutrition for LV Half Marathon
Chef Jamie McKeon joined the Sunrise Crew on April 10th, 2009 to teach us how to make hummus, roasted vegetable pizza and wheatberry salad. He is the Director of Foodservice and Nutrition for the Lehigh Valley Half Marathon. When Chef Jamie isn't preparing for a marathon, he is Executive Chef at East Stroudsburg University. The recipes featured are all nutritious, high-energy foods for runners and active people alike.

Chef Jonathan Davis joined the Sunrise Crew Friday, March 27th, 2009 to prepare some of his specialties that are featured at Pearly Baker's Ale House.

Chef Keith Krem from Kremmer's Cafe & Catering, llc. showed viewers how to prepare three of the cafe's specialties on 69 News at Sunrise on Friday, March 20th, 2009. The theme of their visit was one of Lent and Easter. The first two recipes are meant to be tasty dishes served during Lent. They said that the Carrot Cheesecake is more of a “you have reached the end of Lent, here is a great Easter dessert."

Chef Natalie Miller was welcomed in the kitchen by our Sunrise Crew on March 13th, 2009. She showed us how to make some of the delicious recipes served up on a regular basis at Looper's Grille and Bar located on Bethlehem's Southside.

Chef Rafael Palomino joined the Sunrise Crew on March 6th, 2009 to explain how he makes a few favorites from the Pacifico Restaurant's extensive menu that features dishes with seaside flair. Pacifico Restaurant is located in the Promenade Shops in Center Valley.

On February 27th, 2009, Chef Brian Bondra from the Hotel Bethlehem joined us on 69 News at Sunrise to prepare a few selections off of their Children's Menu. It features foods that are popular with all ages.

She traded her commutes to New York City and her demanding job as a lawyer for some "sweet-smelling success" in her kitchen. Felicia Fisher, founder of The Black Buggy Baking Company, in Oley, stopped by our kitchen on 69 News at Sunrise Wednesday to tell us what it is about her products that has everyone raving! (She even shared some of her secrets!)
