The Reading Fightin Phils (53-23) lost Sunday’s finale to the Portland Sea Dogs (27-47) by a score of 9-8. A three-run home run by Nate Freiman in the bottom of the eighth gave Portland the lead and eventual win. Reading leads the season-series 10-6 despite losing on Sunday.
